Something I've noticed playing in the days before 1.0 comes out is the lack of Reapers in any major area of the game. I spent a few in-game days preparing a seamoth, but that was totally unnecessary because the Reapers have been relocated to a little Shroom Forest-Mountain Island-Bulb Zone corner. At the moment that's been the only reaper I've seen in a save with 7 1/2 hours of gameplay. Should Reapers be put back into their original habitat besides the Aurora?

Have you explored the Dunes seafloor? And around the mountain island?
Yeah. The reapers still live in the dunes, and the one near the island is still as hungry as ever.
This Reaper that you specified has shown up for me, although I only heard it. I did not venture any further past the earliest entrance into the Aurora then I had to for obvious reasons.
I think Reapers should roam about the map, whatever the biome, except in caves and shallows.
I'm not standing for encountering reapers everywhere, but for the possibility to do so. Maybe put 2-3 reapers at a "fixed" location, as it is now, and set 5-6 to "roam" the majority of the map. It shouldn't be about the frequency of encounters, but about the unpredictability of those.

More seriously, however, the last time I played I did not notice anything odd with Reaper spawning. They were always nipping at my heels, so I don't think anything changed. If anything, you've just been getting lucky and avoiding certain death at every turn!
