I think a lot about preference comes from gaming background -ie higher sensitivity for those who used to play Quake a lot (quick looking, dodging etc.) Personally, I get sick with to much motion - I prefer to plan my attacks - listen carefully and aim preemptivly when marine, and always parasite so I know exactly where to attack when alien. Hense, a much slower mouse speed. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

The key is too have accuracy as well as speed.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Indeed, and that is the hardest part, especially if your mouse isnt up to scratch... goes for old roller mice. I find my aim as marine is fair, not super duper as I've met ns players who's aim must have been gotten by years of hard training or god given skillz. As skulk I think my general confusion from the leaping aboot with teeth all over my screen to be the biggest problem. Many of my kills are coincidential I gather.

10 for all mods... works reasonably well for me.... I run XP, and have left all my mouse settings at default - using an MS Intelli Mouse optical.....

I use 9 for both NS and CS with windows mouse speed set almost to the max.

I think in a game like NS, its good to have a higher sensitivity. Compare it to counter-strike. In CS, for the most part, you are shooting long-medium range at enemies. So its ok to have low sensitivity for the accuracy. But in NS, I think there is less long range battles and more close range battles. Skulks are the perfect example. They run up to you fast and are in your face. When in close range, you dont need to be perfectly accurate, since at least 1/3 of the bullets will hit them anyways, so a higher sensitivity will allow you to turn quickly and follow those fast moving skulks.
