Sea emperor broken with the ghost update! Help!

So I log onto my subautica game, ready to go play the ghost update. I get in my prawn and go to the portal you open up for the sea emperor. I know the sea emperor sequence was supposed to be reset, but the portal is still open. I go through and the sea emperor is sting there like it does when you go near the eggs. The eggs are still unhatched and I can't interact with the hatching terminal. I've tried clearing my cache and going in through the front, but that doesn't work! Help!

I also don't have the hatching enzyme in my blueprints.

You have to insert a fuel crystal into the hatching thingie. Be advised that the recipe is different now.

Last time I didn't need a fuel crystal. Do you mean hatching enzyme? The hatching thing doesn't do anything when I go up to it. It should have a hand or something when I look at it sorta like to pick up an item. And the sea emperor still won't move.

No, I mean an Ion Crystal. I had the same issue. Last time you didn't need one, no, but now you do.

But shouldn't the sea emperor still move? It's just sitting there.

It's waiting for you to hatch its children. It also knows it's gonna do what it does after you hatch its children, and soon, so why should it move? Just put the thingy in the thing.

I swam up to it with an ion crystal and nothing happened.

Well, I'm not sure what to tell you except to say this problem doesn't exist in Experimental.

From your description, I dont think you have completed the sequence fully. I dont want to spoil..

You will need 2 Ion Crystals to put into the Incubator and then the Teleporter.

Did you power the incubator? Also, you may need to swim closer to the portal for the hatching enzyme.

I just resized that I was putting the ion crystal in the wrong thing. Thanks for the help everybody!
