ping manager broken

I loaded an old save and none of my pings show up on my map. I enabled them disabled them changed the colors I couldn't even see a beacon I dropped in front of me.

    i have had issues where the pings stopped showing up after i used the warp gait

    Have to agree with pings not showing after you use a warp gate they stop showing mind you i went through mine from the thermal power plant with my prawn suit on also the frame rate is very laggy now since this new update hope it helps :)

    I reloaded the game and true to the other posters its the portal that is messing up the pings

    To be fair, you can never see the ping icon for something right in front of you-- you have to be a minimum number of meters away from it.

    Well that's certainly annoying! I haven't encountered this myself because I haven't been using the warp portals. Do more of them work now besides the two island ones?

    Yes. You have to find the masters, though. There's one in the Thermal Plant and the rest are in the Containment Facility IIRC.

    Mine didn't stop showing after the warp gate. I do wish you could name them in addition to the color codes.

    Beacons can be named individually by clicking on a certain spot in them.

    You need to take the warp gate in the PRAWN suit. I warped back and forth a few times and didn't lose the pings but it wasn't until I warped with the PRAWN that I lost them.

    This bug hasn't been fixed yet, warp gates work fine and don't mess up your pings if you go through them with only the player character, today however I went through the gate in the planetary defense structure (the big cannon) with my Prawn Suit to mine the Ion Crystal cluster in the Thermal Plant, after going through my pings stopped working.

    So it is the Prawn Suit messing up the pings when you go through warp gates with it.
