    Why can't I have this inexhaustible energy supply on my Seaglide as well? Or my propulsion cannon? Alterra priorities are a bit weird...

    Although saying that, the FRIEND has given me some rather intriguing information regarding the Blood Kelp's creepiness, so maybe I'm the one who has his priorities out of wack ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    You absolutely can have inexaustible energy supply on the Seaglide. There is a hidden switch on the back that turns it to low power mode. Be advised... when using this mode, it looks like you aren't even equipping the Seaglide, and you speed is approximately the same speed as if you aren't using the Seaglide at all. But you are absolutely guaranteed to never run out of power. (Also, be advised the Seaglide light must remain off in this extreme low power mode.) :)

    The self-charging cells don't produce enough current to power a device when it's in use.
