  Yes, i think those pesky parasites shouldn't be able to puncture the Reinforced Dive Suit. After all, it is armored.

  I like this idea honestly i kinda assumed the reinforced suit would be like a modern shark suit i can understand taking damage from larger predators but those tiny annoyance type enemies would not have the bite force to get through

  It would make sense to make the player immune to those threats once you use the reinforced suit.
  
  Since it makes you immune to Tiger plants which shoot at you with spikes almost the size of a Biter/Bleeder you could assume that it also makes you immune to those little pests.
