in Subnautica General Discussion
Not much to say but great job! It's an amazing crafting survival game unique concept of being underwater! There is a couple things, multiplayer would be a plus, and maybe add in an auto save mechanic. That would be great! Other than that keep up the good work!

    Not to be annoying or anything thing, but Multiplayer was established many, Many (MANY) months ago by he Dev's, as being off the table as far as this version of the game is concerned. (it's not ever going to be an option as far as They are concerned)

    See the stickied thread at the top of the forums for "reasons".

    I'm sure They are glad you like the game though.

    Also, an "Auto Save" option is being added to the game at some point in the next few months. (if not sooner)

    Hmm..... I question your love for this game.

    My love for this game is unquestionable...
    (though the first few days back last June, I probably would have given a different answer)

    What part of NEVER EVER do you not understand?

    Did you not read the stickied thread I pointed out to you.

    No where in that thread are the words "as of yet" written, designated or implied by any Dev from UWE.

    In fact, They have specifically stated on SEVERAL Occasions that it would NOT be added to the game.


    And @ShuttleBug, your comment was apparently right on the money.

    I predict this thread will definitely be closed in the near future.

    Dude, buddy, pal, we've been here a while. Like, months or years for most of us. We're fully aware that the game is in Early Access.

    We've also seen countless times where the devs have said, officially, Multiplayer Ain't Happening, because the game would basically need to be rebuilt from the ground-up.

    So, ah, don't hold ANY hope of the game getting multiplayer ever.

    And with any knowledge of the complexity of the guts of a computer game, both from a technical and gameplay perspective, it's obvious that multiplayer has to be added at the start, because it impacts both greatly. At this point of the development of Subnautica, multiplayer could only be added by starting from scratch, throwing away ~90% of the work done so far.

    Apparently, an extremely difficult concept to wrap ones brain around...

    Especially when it comes to Multiplayer Rejection.
