1. Have 2 planters (Only 4 Titanium) in your cyclops/base.

2. Find the Chinese Potatoes located in one of the mountaintop bases on a floating island. Save atleast one, it doesn't matter if it rots.

3. Get atleast one Bulbo Tree sample using a Survival Knife from the Bulbo Trees located on the gun island. (Once again, it doesn't matter if it rots.)

4. Plant Chinese Potatoes in one planter and Bulbo Trees in the other, the Chinese Potatoes give mostly food and the Bulbo Trees give mostly water.

5. Lantern Trees HATE this man! See this 1 simple trick to getting a more efficient dinner from YOUR own home!

6. ???

7. Profit.

I just have 1 marblemelon planter in my cyclops. I can now stay in my cyclops indefinitely. (I have 2 powercell chargers)

When I used the marblemelon, it didn't seem to grow any new or multiple ones :(

You have to hit one with the knife to get seeds, then plant those.

    Rinse, Repeat.

I find I can get infinite power with just one Powercell Recharger, which I mount in the engine room port-side. As usual with Chargers, I fill it up with spare batteries/cells so I always have charged ones available to swap.

I use Plant Pots and Wall Pots. Plant Pots contain either a Lantern Tree (good for final top up), Chinese Potato, Bulbo Tree, or 4 Marblemelons. Wall Pots contain extra Marblemelons. Put them all on the bridge for easy access (along with 10 Wall Lockers).

    A small play tip...

For more convenience, mount a Power Cell Charger inside the engine room, just above the right hatch (facing toward the rear)... (actually the port side)

Since the cells on that side drain first, all you have to do is stand by them and just turn a bit to the left to change them out with the charger above the doorway.

    Saves a few steps anyway.

I've been doing that too. However, in my new game this week on 45367 (stable) I've found the powercell that gets drained varies more. So when you don't find enough discharge port-side, you have to go check and likely swap out a powercell starboard-side.

Umm... Bulbo trees are on the floating island too. And Marblemelons restore more water than Bulbo trees.

I use a slice or two of Bulbo to top up the water over eating more Marblemelon.
