Odds are good that it's a driver issue more than anything else - I run Subnautica on a magic potato laptop and while my framerates aren't always great, actual crashes are few and far between.

Let me ping @0x6A7232 into this thread - he has some good information for general troubleshooting. In the meantime, you might want to check this thread out.

    check:
    Cached data
    hardware drivers

If the first doesnt fix it then reinstall drivers and try the first item again.

If Windows is up-to-date, and your drivers are up-to-date, I'd try clearing your cache

There's a bug (maybe the resources duplicate over time, even though you can't see it, like wreck doors and tech fragments sometimes do?) or optimization problem with how the game keeps track of harvested resources. The devs are aware, I'm sure it will be mitigated before v1.0 hits.

For reference, wrecks, fragments, resources to be harvested etc are stored in CellsCache. Terrain (which is still deformable) is stored in CompiledOctreesCache.

Clearing these forces the game to supply a fresh, clean, up-to-data untouched copy from \Build18\ and then when you save, a copy is saved in your SavedGames\slot00xx folder for that save.

Indeed I got a bug with wreck doors duplicating when "cutting" them, but this was solved too by cleaning the cache files. Hope to see it mitigated soon!
    Thank you again B)
