So, this is the second time this has happened to me, but the first time that exiting then entering the game hasn't helped.
After moving about a bit in my Seamoth (after trying to find the sea base I started to build and then lost its location), I suddenly realized that nothing was there; no schools of fish, no fish, no bone or Sand Sharks. There was nothing! Not even limestone or shale or basalt outcrops.
Is there a way to fix this without using commands to reset the game?

First, if there are no fish or resouces I surface and hold there until my O2 is full.
If that doesn't work I reload the save.
If that doesn't work I turn off the XB and reload the save.
If that doesn't work I delete the local save on the XB and resync the save from XBLIVE
by restarting SN. It will take a few minutes to resync.
If that doesn't work I delete the local and XBLIVE saves and start a new game.
I wish I had a better fix.
A player or Dev with call sign Ox4646? suggested the above actions.
He also suggested I do 2 more things;
1. Perform a 'hard shutdown' by pressing and holding in the power button until the XBX turned off.
If that doesn't work on reloading.
2. Set the XBX for an 'Econo Start' in the XBX system settings.
One more thing.
I never, ever never save the game while I am in any vehicle or habitat.
NEVER.
I don't know if they ever fixed that problem but I always save in the water.
