Rendering problems

I've been playing Subnautica on the Xbox One for about 18 hours now on the same save and I've noticed that the game is now having problems rendering the graphics (the Aurora only renders when I'm not looking directly at it, both islands aren't rendering, underwater terrain isn't rendering, etc).

Is there a way to fix this without having to start a brand new game and lose all of my progress?

Try cold starting the xbox. From the main screen, hold the power button on the console down until the power pack goes yellow. Then start it back up. Let me know if this works.

Now the Aurora isn't spawning at all. I love this game, but man this is getting frustrating.
