  Did you try putting it on the outside of the base?

  Put it on the outside of the base, then attach pipes to it.

  Won;t even render the glowy outline for me. Pretty sure it's a bug though.

  It does currently work in the stable build. It just doesn't have a ghost image of where you're putting it, nor is it represented by a model in game. You can attach it anywhere on your base, swap to pipes and they automatically connect to it.

  Just bases. Unless there's a glitch. If I was going to try for glitching that, I'd try the Cyclops, as you can build some base things in that.
