So I wanted so expand my particial underground base and wanted to deconstruct one of the Hub moduls, but it didn#t work. There was a Text telling me "Can't deconstruct. None Visible should deconstruct first. None Visible should deconstruct first."
I can#t build another Hub module atop of the said one.
Please, tell me how to fix this.
Ah, and I'm playing in stable version.

Can you post screenshots of the inside and outside of where you're trying to decon?

I'm having this issue as well. My base was built on the seafloor but with the removal of terraforming the base parts are glitched and I can't remove them. I'm not even upset about the removal of terraforming but I'd like to be able to get ride of these base pieces. I've attached screenshots of the piece in question. Please help me.

It looks like the Moonpool has multiple leaks. I've never tried deconstructing a leaking base part, so I don't know if that prevents deconstruction. Did you try fixing the leaks before deconstructing it?
This might seem a bit obvious, but you didn't mention if you built a vehicle modification station inside the Moonpool. If there is one built inside the Moonpool, you're going to have to deconstruct it first.

I removed all the inner structures and I added those leaks to try and help the removal, it's the same result either way. I actually was able to "look inside" of the walls of the structure and I see there is some sand inside the walls. No way to remove the sand and no way to remove the piece so far.

Okay, this is a bit of a longshot, but. You could breed a crashfish, load it into a propulsion cannon with F, then fire it at the sand blocking the deconstruction. I've noticed that even though terraforming has supposedly been removed, crashfish explosions still remove terrain.

Sry, to the guy who wanted screenshots, I deleted the world. Am not very pacient. I think the bugs where chaused by the new update and so I restarted, but hopefully you'll find a solution for Dom.

You could try clearing your cache just to see if it makes a difference. Instructions are in the first line of my signature ▼ below.

I did try clearing the cache with no luck. I will try the crashfish powder suggestion.

Another thing that terraforms is floaters, but I'm not sure if they still do after the update (toss them into terrain and they explode through it).

Thank you for your help! I managed to get rid of it by spawning crashfish in the sand and blasting them with my repulsion cannon. Thank you so much!!!

Just tested, item 514 (terraformer) still works. So there's that.

Ok, now I know what was wrong with my base. I read the patch notes and well... You can't build bases into the terrain anymore. I hate it... But well... I can't do anytrhing about it...

If you remove the terrain you can deconstruct/construct. Try item 514 (terraformer), or spawning crashfish and blasting them with the repulsion cannon.

    item 514
    shift-right-click to remove terrain.

Deconstruct base, move it so it's not clipping where the terrain will be.
    Delete CompiledOctreesCache to reset terrain.

Encountered the same bug. Repulsion canon works as terraformer as well. Spent literally 30 minutes an 50 batteries to clear a large pile of terrain overlapped my base.

Was going to note that they are removing the terraforming property of damage events in the xbox checkin 43747 - 3 days ago. I don't know yet what they've got in store for steam, but I think it's safe to assume if they're removing it from the game entirely, most damage events will likely no longer be terraforming, since it's part of the overarching change to remove terraforming, in general.
