Lag issue when entering Grand Reef

Ok, so I made the P.R.A.W.N Suit and i decided to use it to walk to the grand reef. When i got about 200-300 Meters away from the floating island before the grand reef, i started to experience extreme lag (1 FPS) and Subnautica usually runs smooth 60 FPS+
The problem is that I have deleted the files needed in CellCache to make it "disappear", but nope. Still lags just as much. I've tried everything in the troubleshooting guide aswell. My drivers are all up to date.
I've tried killing myself ingame, but if i do that, Subnautica crashes. Subnautica is unplayable because of this lag issue I'm having. Can someone help me fix it?
pls help

Well, then, enjoy your wait until the devs fix the problem?
Your wreck is duplicating / triplicating / or other. If you keep cutting, you'll reach all of them. Clearing your cache should fix this, see the first line of my sig ▼ down there.

Yep. I can manage that. I will still continue playing SN but will relegate it to the bottom of the pile. There is more to life than Subnautica, though I think some here will disagree with that.
Saying that, though the lag and breaks in this game get on my t*ts, I can't help coming back to it time after time. Shows what a brilliant game (with fantastic potential) the devs have created here.
Any help?

Short: After saving, wrecks and vines spawn multiple times in the same location. When changing biome this can crash your game.
This is also a main reason for fps drops.
You can try the experimental build on Steam.
Switching to experimental has fixed the crashes for me but I still get the occasional lag if I am travelling fast, such as in the sea moth or the sea glide. Sometimes the lag can freeze the screen for 2-3 seconds. However, there is at least one player I have seen on here who is still experiencing crashes in experimental. My advice is to at least try the experimental for yourself. It's easy to install, and if you decide you want to go back to stable build you can simply uncheck the experimental box and the game automatically reverts back to the latest stable build.
