I don't speak any of those languages, but I thought it might be fun to break down all the words and try to make some sense of the message. Of course I failed miserably, but I would like to post what I have done so far, so we can see if there really is intelligible language in the Alien language.
I decided to break it down a bit and try to create legible sentences. Note, that some of the translated words have alternative meanings, which may provide a better fit to the sentence. The legible sentence bit didn't work too well, but there are some interesting constructions of semi-meaningful sentences that I can create.
I'll break it down section by section, and then throw it together at the end. If anyone of course can provide some better linguistic ideas, I would be most grateful.
Note, many of these words I've used do not come from Scandinavian languages

Note, body here (trup) is Romanian and has subtle variations in meaning.

ait - means relative to, relating to, concerning etc.
Trankeboop.
Note, nke is Swahili so doesn't really count as a Scandinavian language :P

Which, by the way makes absolutely no sense, apart from almost sense at the end, but has managed to successfully keep me occupied for an hour and a half.

I believe it's a message from an alien who had found a flag that was not made by its species, referring to it as strange. He had found it on the island that you had crashlanded on, which is the same planet where their research on the strange virus is taking place. The alien decided to report it to their superiors or maybe the head of the research facility, who probably resides on another planet where most of the important research was being carried out. If this is true, and they had been able to get their superior to fly out to that planet, then there is a chance that the ship had met its demise to the Precursor, much like that of the fate of the Sunbeam.
It's just a theory though.
