Xbox One Choppy/Laggy

I know this is early access game but I just purchased this yesterday for my xbox (brother has it on pc and it runs great) but nothing loads in for me. I'll be looking for limestone/sandstone and it won't load in unless I stop at every rock wall and wait for it to load. I have looked up various ways to free up RAM and have done so. What I don't understand is how I can watch a streamer on Xbox One playing this game FLAWLESSLY but I'd rather watch paint dry then play it on my Xbox. Are there any tips to get this game to run a little better on the Xbox one!?

    Hold down your power button until your power pack goes amber / yellow. This will force a clean boot, which triggers a cache clear for games. Someone said doing it multiple times in a row helps (dunno if that's the case or not).

    I myself only started playing just before xmas.... When I started a survival it played great but after so long all I get is supreme fps drop all over the map making it totally unplayable, it starts to feel and look like its from the SNES era lol there is a new patch hopefully this week which is meant to fix it somewhat, I hope it does as I really like the game but fps drop in this generation shouldn't be as bad and will make me hate it eventullly, something I don't want.

    I agree I'll play it on my brothers pc when he's not around and I LOVE the game it's awesome. It is literally unplayable on my Xbox. Hell I even thought I had to much of my hard drive used so I erased 150 gb worth of games and didn't help.

    Yeh seems Xbox just doesn't have whats required to run the game smoothly... ouch lots of DL later then.

    I don't see how anyone on Xbox can play this game flawlessly. Maybe the first 30 minutes to an hour are good. But whenever you get any progress...i.e...building a seamoth or base, it's starts this ridiculous lag. Completely unplayable unless you enjoy playing from scratch every time you open it.

    The next update should improve the frame rate.
