About a Difference between PC and XBOX 1

I've been watching some people play the game on the console and i have been playing on XBOX 1. Everyone I've watched play on PC both on youtube and friends in person start out being able to craft the multipurpose room. However I have to scan for it on XBOX 1. Is there a reason for this? Am i watching older versions of the game or are the literally different?

YouTubers playing older versions would be my guess...

You are watching older versions. PC players haven't had the MP room as default recipe for at least three updates.

Look in the upper right corner. I think MP rooms were removed from default blueprints at 40062?

Yeah when I first got Subnautica the main room was available right away. After last update it suggested to delete and start fresh so I did then I had to find pieces to scan for the main room.
