in Subnautica Bug Reporting
So I tried playing Subnautica for my stream today. Started a fresh new game...then another. I found both games were almost completely empty, devoid of any outcrops, fragments, predators, prey, etc.

    Checking in on this bug because I feel like it's going underreported. So I'm bumping for visibility as another victim of that bug. In my experience only the chunks loaded at start (near the lifepod) are populated properly. Everything beyond that is dead. No fish, no resource nodules. But, curiously, yes creepvine (and clusters) in the kelp forests.

    Verify your Steam local file game cache. After that, clear your saved game cache (two separate things). Instructions for both are in my sig ▼ down there.

    If that does not work, then please check this thread here and see if there is another process locking your Subnautica files from updating properly.
