Okay, in the PC version of the game Subnautica™ made by unknownworlds you can not replace batteries by dragging and dropping a full battery on an item that does not have full battery. In order to replace a batery you need to spin the wheel on your mouse until you equip the empty tool then "r" to reload. I think it would be nice if you could make it so you can replace batteries in both ways above. SIDE NOTE if you can make it so you can kill fish in your inventory and cut Marblemelon by dragging knife over live fish or Marblemelon that would be AMAZING!

Make sure you share this and comment below I believe this is a simple thing the Devs can work on and I believe it might help with the flow of gameplay

~With love
A very tired Mikopy

I mean there's no real point in killing fish in your inventory since the Fabricator is what kills and cooks them.

Unless you want to use a Heat Blade which could work I guess

@04Leonhardt Yeah that is what I meant, I just find it annoying that I need to leave my base every time I want to get Marble Melon Seeds

Yeah. Whack em with a knife and you get 4 seeds.

You can also place back down a marblemelon in any 2x2 space, and cut it there.

I'm not aware of any way to get acid mushroom seeds without significant bodily harm, though.

Anyone ever try picking them, dropping them, then slashing the picked shroom? I haven't yet, I just thought of it. Unsure what would happen.

You get the same damage as slashing at a planted shroom. Harvesting shrooms is why I'm pro-spear/length upgrade for the knife despite generally being anti-weapon.
