Have a read through here, this might help you, if it does not, just restore the affected folders:

Hey 0x6A7232, thank you for the information. Deleting both cache folders seems to have worked. Freezing has stopped (for now) but my base and items are all there and working.

Cool, just remember, it resets any terrain, which includes loot in wrecks, sandstone / limestone deposits, quartz / mushrooms / etc etc / terrain changes made to accommodate base, so only do it if you have to. Hopefully it won't be necessary in the near future. :)

I've noticed a couple of things though: after the cache is deleted items placed in the world function strangely. In my case it was a floating locker and a floating air pump (beacons are still working fine). The floating locker just vanished with all its contents. The air pump was still where I left it, but I was unable to pick it up or interact with it (the air pipes also vanished).

Make sure you pick items around the world before deleting the caches.

Other than that things are working well. Had the corruption again today. It looks like its "rinse and repeat" until the devs can identify what is happening.

Well, you backed up those folders, right? So you can restore them, pick up the stuff laying around, then delete them to \bkdisabled again. Unless you just deleted them, then yeah no fixing that I guess.
