  Sulphur was removed from the required ingredients from the items you mentioned above. It was never placed in the world to start with, and we've changed the recipes to require something different. In the future we are still likely going to add sulphur to the world, and change some ingredients to make use of it.

  Crash powder is sulfur based, and apparently self oxidizing as it burns underwater. All you need is charcoal for some explicitly non-peaceful crafting.
