Horrible Bug (I think?)

I do not think the water is supposed to trigger epileptic seizures.
First time launching the game (should note that I just finished getting a custom build pc).
The colours would constantly change everywhere on the water (similar mesh to the cyclops I guess) and its impossible to try and get immersed. 9s5a2hur81jw.png
Keep in mind the colours were moving super fast everywhere on the water and there were random black pixels as well.

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks~

(am I allowed to post this here...?)

Never seen that before. How does your video card perform with other games?

Waitaminute. That's a flare, right? I think I'll try that and see what happens...

Hi, we've had a few reports of this. Can you please post your dxdiag and logs in this thread as described here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=403087864

Well, I'm using an RX 480 8GB and it seems to run it well (the bug is only occuring at the waves and is less noticeable underwater).

I looked up the problem and it didn't take long to find others with the same issue, just had to do something with the properties on steam (-d3d9 or something) and it seemed to fix it. Settings would only do Min/High for graphics and Medium for water on the menu screen but ingame I could change to any setting.

Wish I took a screenshot of the main menu though because the bug was also visible there. :>

If it makes any difference I changed the visual settings a bit almost immediately after the beginning.

I'll be sure to do that bug report thingo asap Obraxis Prime.

@Lonnehart unfortunately I threw those flares at anything that surprised me. For some reason throwing flares at anything that creeps me out seems the safest option.

Also, if this is any help - all the people with the problem seemed to have Radeons (some mentioned the Crimson Edition drivers which I also have) so it might be something to do with the latest drivers.

Using latest Crimson drivers here, not seeing this problem. Just saying.

I have got a similar problem after the latest windows 10 update, which forced me to reinstall my AMD radeon driver. My other games are also affected and can't find any solution. I hate windows 10, each update will replace my drivers with somthing that doesn't work. Also, reinstalling the drivers won't help.
