Just wanted to hear other opinions on using the Seaglide VS Improved Flippers.
As far as I can tell, they are both similar in speed, or are they?
Seaglide uses batteries pretty quickly and takes up ALOT of space in inventory. I don't consider the 3d map to be helpful and it blocks part of what I want to see. It's also annoying that when you enter a base, you are still holding the Seaglide out in front of you and you have to deselect it every time. Other than that, it is kind of fun to use for some reason...
For these reasons, I have switched to ditching the Seaglide in favor of using just upgraded fins and a flashlight.
I guess the main question is, is my thinking on this correct and are upgraded fins and the Seaglide comparable in speed?
Thoughts?

The Powerglide is supposed to eventually come out instead of only being available through console commands and has a top speed of 23.1 m/s using Turbo mode, but its efficiency drops from 3800 meters per charge to 3500 meters per charge when Turbo is used.
The idea about using the charge fins is great, but I agree on inventory space. Powerglide makes it relevant again.
