Come on guys, it'd be nice to see a thread that doesn't devolve into arguments.
Agreed
The proplem here is that people speculate when they believe the next update is going to be, although he devs never give a solid "on this date we will release..." When the speculated date passes then people jump and and down bitching about there being no update, when the devs never gave such a date, it was just speculation that people started to believe in.

So when in the Julian calendar is "Eventually"? If someone can help me find Eventually, I'll be happy cos I'll know EXACTLY when the next update will be....

Eventually means it will be ready when the devs think it's ready and not before. We all need to be patient. I am sure you'll agree that we'd rather have an update that works than one that is rushed and breaks the game.

"Eventually" is as difficult to calculate as an accurate model of Valve Time. It's much easier to just wait it out.

Ok, kids..that was sarcasm, humor, etc. We're all cool with their development process, except for those who aren't and who apparently only own just this one game...
I greatly appreciate such dedication they have for this game, as well as for its community - us, the fans.
I cannot thank them enough for what they've done to us, massive efforts well spent.
Ever hear the phrase "A watched pot never boils"? That can kind of be applied to game updates too. Best thing to do in the future (if you can stand it) is to just play your game and be surprised when a game gets updated. Trying to keep track of exactly WHEN you get the next update is a recipe for frustration.
I can try to remember this myself too
Hey everyone,i got that info through Discord which is a real time chat with members of the community and the devs.Obraxis and Cory are on often so you can ask them all your questions there.I highly recomend you sign up for discord.

Not sure where you got that info, I hope, but still doubt it.
Woah, woah... the devs have spoken when and where? Links or it didn't happen, don't toy with my emotions fish!
Devstream.
That better be true, or I'll... be highly annoyed and disappointed, I guess? Have to go back to playing Fallout 4 anyway.
Nah, they need to get a good night's rest so that as all the stable-release players are updated, the devs can keep an eye out for bugs being reported.
Sometimes it seems like post-release is busier than pre-release.
If you don't believe it, you should go check out the chat with the devs on discord! The link is in the "new subnautica chatroom" post
I can try to remember this myself too
