Hi guys. I'm hoping someone can help me, or at least finalize my fear that I've just lost 20 hours of work.
Basically, no matter how long I swim towards my Pod, it does not get closer. On top of that, when I go below the water, the pod stays centered rather than appearing above at the water line.
The entire ocean around me and under me is just water. There's nothing that used to be there. I went down several hundred meters and it was still just nothing.
No matter how long I swim in my Seamoth towards my Pod, it doesn't get any closer.
The Aurora has completely disappeared.
My thermometer is stuck at 0.00 Celsius.
The only things that are the same are my Beacons that I set up around the area I was exploring at the time (around the Grand Reef).
I recorded a bit of gameplay because I'm not the best at explaining things- you can see the video here:

Thanks to anyone who can help, or tell me that i'm screwed and lost all my game play, or to the devs if they can figure this out :D Hopefully it's just me and not everyone is gonna lose their work!

Let me know if you need any more information :) Glad to help out

What biome were you in? Seems to me you're in the void hence why you can't see anything under the water, and the distance from the pod etc would also suggest you're in the void. You didn't actually travel that far in the clip as you were constant;y stopping and looking around.

However, it does seem vary odd that the aurora has disappeared (but again that could be an indicator of how far away you are).

Sorry I'm a bit late but I believe I know a fix, first make sure you take the upgrades and the such off your seamoth, as this method will require you to leave it behind. So after doing this press f3 and then f8 and untick the no developer commands box. Now press f3 again and close the development feedback tab and hit Enter. A box will appear in the bottom left corner that you can type into. Make sure you are not in your seamoth when you do this and type warpme. this will take you to your lifepod/base whichever you were in first. If this does not work another idea would be typing 'goto genroom' into the box to warp to the dark matter core in the aurora. This issue has happened before where players are for some reason placed back into the game in the wrong place, I've never seen someone put so far away though. Could you tell me what the last thing you did before you closed your game/ended up there?

Could also just use Warp 0,0,0 to teleport to the middle of the map.

No idea what happened, I was in the middle of the grand reef before. saved, and came back to that :p I think I fixed it though. By pure luck, the warping stuff didn't work. I was just messing around with stuff and it went back to normal xD So weird... really glad I didn't lose everything, though. Thanks for trying to help!.. no idea how to close this tread though, or if you even can
