Day 1 explosion - Has this happened to anyone else?

  A few times yes. It seems the explosion is happening randomly for me between 1-3 days. I'm on experimental, though, so I've just been rolling with it.

  That happened today, most of the time I can get a good start to the gear list I use, but today it was fast only had part of my gear list and boom ship blow.

  That's happened to me many times, usually I don't care and wait about 14 in game days before actually making it.

  You don't need the radiation suit most of the time, until you're ready to go fix the breach, or you want to explore near the ship without doing so. I like it when the ship blows quickly, because that means quicker access to fragments.

  For me it's happened once, but since I generally don't make the rad suit until about day 30-60, it's never bothered me.....

  8 acid mushrooms. But yeah, it's not hard to make. Was a lot harder when you had to burn your precious silver making lead.

  I'm more concerned about my lifepod turning into a rocket that goes off to the map edge in no time, leaving me with no powered fabricator, because with recent builds the tech isn't found anywhere soon. Not even in the wrecks or abondoned bases.

  You should really try new builds with new starts. Not right now maybe, because the devs have buried all power tech for easter time.

  I've had it blow up before it even got dark in the first day. I also had it wait till at least day 7 once. I would say it usually blows somewhere on the 2nd day.
  
  The day 7 one was pretty boring. No fragments, can't fix the reactor yet. Nothing to do but just wait around for it to blow and collect stalker teeth. My collection was IMPRESSIVE by the time it blew though.
