@BabblerKing That window is needed because it keeps the game running so that you can create a dump using 32 bit task manager for pts.
Yet is there no way to make it more useful? Maybe replace the text in it to help sufferers perform the correct steps? Currently this thing is rage-inducing. Especially that submit button that doesn't work.
my issue just seems to be workshop . i have unsubbed and deleted the mod out of the user data file and nuke from orbit and deleted the options xml file ...im sure my ns2 file is good and vanilla as it is.

You could try changing your steam server location in steam settings, perhaps another server will work better with workshop?
What are your symptoms at this point and time? The log shows you connecting to a server and downloading mods. You are not crashing, correct? Just unable to download mods?
Can you try using both "verbose 3" as well as "net_log 53" in your console (without quotes) and then after failing to connect / download mods, re upload another tech support file?
We haven't seen these users be unable to download mods, specifically, but it makes sense why there could be an issue.
You are still however receiving the ack outside of window error..
We have a fix that we are testing tomorrow and will hopefully get out to you all soon. After it is out I'll ask you specifically to test again and see if it allows you to download mods - if not then we'll have to investigate that further, but I feel like since you are showing the same errors in your log that it is connected and therefore should be resolved along with everyone else.

We've tested it and it looks to have fixed any of the NAT / port swapping issues.
No release date or ETA just yet, however.
It looks like it will be a small patch, so as long as nothing major pops up in the next few days (and if we dont discover what file is corrupted and giving people memory allocation errors in time) it should not be much longer.
