The Seamoth is hardy and great for exploring
And the SeaGlide is good for maneuvering in and out of dangerous places
But what I would like to see is the middle ground between the two, a sort of open cockpit jetbike type vehicle. That goes stupid fast. Could even outrun Reaper Leviathans.
Since it's an open cockpit design, the player's Oxygen would still decrease, but the built in O2 tank would add 120 to the player's oxygen meter.
The Jet Bike Sub would have two modes, Cruising and High Speed.
Cruising mode would be the default, low speed, highly agile.
High Speed Mode would automatically activate after moving forward for a certain amount of time, allowing the bike to travel at incredibly high speeds, but with poorer turning.

Another thing with the speed should it get a speed boost if at the surface thus less resistance. So say the Default speed would be 20 knots (faster then the SeaGlides 18.5 knots but slower then the SeaMoths 24.8 knots) then boost speed would be say 45 knots at cost of more power. But if your cruising the surface you get say a 10-15 knot increase to top speed for both default and boost.
Also maybe have an upgrade go with this for the moonpool and cyclops, allowing you to dock 2 of these SeaBikes at the same time. This allows you to have a back up in case of monster attack or the most dangerous creature of them all "The Spawns Right Infront of You Fish"
