I have set up everything the exact same as the guy in the video and yes, i have port forwarded correctly as well as tried re-installing the files. Every time i run the server right after it is done loading the map it says " Error: 'models/effects/frag_metal_01.model' " Not sure what to do and would really appreciate some help. Thanks, Vague_Shadows.

But tbh as this is just a annoying error output ( and there are alot of them ) which doesn't cause any issue beside that your log gets abit longer it's not really high piority to be fixed.
So i can't promise you if this gets fixed any time soon. For now just ignore it like the rest of us
After being done with the mapload the server has finished the startup sucessfully.
The error just comes up because after the map had been loaded the server renders some collisions cache files. And while he does so he opens up the props i mentioned before and gives out the error as that model is not existing.
But so far your server is rdy to go and will be fine unless you get any Server Errors.
Normal errors are just debugging outputs from the engine but mostly cause never any issues
strange ns2 uses two ports:
the given one as network port for players (default 27015)
and the one up as querry port ( 27016 at default )
So you should also add 27016
Long article: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Server_queries
Short:
Server querries are used by client and the steam master server to fetch details about the server.
Mostly this is used for the game server browser
Edit: Add it as another port forward
and how would i console command it like who i would go "connect" then What
BTW a real usefull list: http://wiki.unknownworlds.com/ns2/Console_Commands
So either this is a firewall issue or a network one. Your port forwarding is correct but could be it is linked to the wrong ip. Or the server has some network adapter piority issues.
Could you open cmd and the run ipconfig at the server and show us the output of that?
