More Lame Ways Of Playing

I was playing on a burstfire server and as i joied the server the last match was over and all the mariens were shouting at a guy for building lods of portals then loggin out as the commander , i went aliens and so did this guy. About 10mins into the game the same guy went gorge and said he was going to build R towers , but he went to every r node on the map and build D towers on them <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> , and then shouted to the humans not to kill them because it stops the aliens getting any of the nodes...... plz can you change it so that you cant build anything but R towers on the nodes because it runes games.

    I have my server automaticly kill any building which sits on a res node.

    If people want it ill release it as another plugin.

    hmmm.. never had that one happen to me, but yes, that must have been infuriating.

    I've seen it happen.. but luckily the marines sieged it (they thought they needed those nodes in the Holo Room) and I quickly retook everything as a fade with a trusty back-up lerk. In endgame, sometimes people make mistakes and build an O chamber where they meant to build a R chamber. I can believe that, since the right mouse function as an alien can be @#$% annoying. I think I might put it somewhere on the keyboard so that I don't end up moving the mouse around and ending up seeing the evolution tree when I'm hunting for a marine behind me (stupid optical mouse, too sensitive, grumble grumble).

    people who use an optical mouse should be banned from using computers and given a beating. if you don't move that mouse slowly then the mouse pointer goes in completely random directions like the person is being electrocuted while playing or something.

    People who read internet articles about things they have never experienced, and then regurgitate crap on message boards because they believe it makes them sound clever should think before they type.

    I've been through several optical mice with no problems whatsoever, and the symptoms you're complaing about to the best of my knowledge only occur on very old optical mice, or when using optical mice with unsuitable surfaces.

    My optical wheelmouse + everglide combo moves as fast as i want it to.

    i use a no-name brand optical mouse, and it works great, i use it on a desk without a mouse pad,a nd can move it perfecty even when going as fast as i can

    i have a microsoft explorer 3.. the best mouse except to the razor boomslang (There are debates about this) and the new logitech mx500 and mx700

    ALL optical except the razor...

    Sometimes it is also a matter of lag!

    If suddenly a heavy lag starts people can click on the wrong function, building an offense chamber instead of a res tower. In that case it is even more irritating to them.

    Ah, no!

    The Offense chamber is- as well as the res tower and the hive - on the right side, while the other chambers are on the left.

    Sothis can happen, if even your mouse cursor is lagging.

    It s abit of a worry. Should be a control to Recycle OC's and that like when marines put something in the wrong spot. That would stop it.

    Some ppl have thier build commands bound to keys. They may have hit the wrong button by accident. Its happened to me. Just last night I meant to build a SC and instead I hit my MC key.

    yeah i had that problem with my old POS intellimouse, but now i have a intellimouse 3.0 explorer, and that doesnt happen anymore. ive also played on computeres with that new logitec optical mouse with dual sensors, it also solves the problem
