Wait until @AceDude completes the new balanced team joining ranking system which should go a long way to providing more balanced teams in pub play. Nothing is a greater turn-off for newbies than the stacking (intentional or not -- 'Randomize teams' is hardly better) that happens frequently in pub games at the moment.

Answer me this though: how much control does UWE have over when Steam does sales? Total, none, or something in-between?

They can set discounts/deals as of Feburary, as Steam updated their Partner Steamworks thingy.
Fix exo , call it Titan update. Use Titanfall popularity, post on steam news and discounts, they get few bucks for sure, and new players.
Temporarily rename the game "Titan Falling"
I don't think that is legal, but maybe if they write TITAN update in BIG and I mean really BIG letters will in game page will bring attention is steam, Cuz titanfall is not on steam
It's still sad to me when I see the half broken, half finished state this game was left in, like a discarded toy of a moody child. It was a game I loved more than most, otherwise I would not care. Stupid alien vision still in, commander view is still failing to provide important information, at least the variable lag problem was taken care of.

Hope is first step to disappointment,just saying
UWE hasn't upset me except for the fade changes in B250. I still have mixed feelings about that, but it is a lost cause. I happily await b265.
They've done that before... remember the infamous beta patch that came out before the Reinforced sale?
