"One-time Optimization"

This keeps popping up everytime I've started the game. I've clicked on the optimize button about 4-5 times already and it still hasn't gone away on startup. Each time, it loads Descent and goes back to the main menu which I'm assuming is what it's supposed to do.

    Are you using any mods? Best would be if you create a tech_support.zip ;)

    Well that was weird i optimized it one more time and it's gone

    didn't check the console when that happened oops
    mods are just crosshairs and a couple gamemodes

    Do they do like really small updates that noone knows about or something o.o

    im not crazy guys i swear

    As far cas i remember they did only once a hotfix update, normally there is at least a week between updates. I asked for mods because there was one crosshair reported to cause this issue but glad it's gone now.

    it seems that if i optimize it it goes away for a short time then it comes back

    the only mod i have active is "Gliss Crosshairs"

    I'm only subscribed to 3 workshop mods, my own and "gliss Crosshairs", and "factions" mod but I saw that a server I joined installed a buncha crap on my in-game mods list so I'm gonna delete everything like you suggested to start fresh and redownoad only the mods i'm subscribed to :<

    Yeah it's your Crosshairs. http://forums.unknownworlds.com/discussion/comment/2162275/#Comment_2162275 best would be to delete "build=xxx"
