    ProChallange:

Win a alien Veil round without cysting at all. It's actually pretty fun to do. :3

Now that would be around the GodTier-Challenge range... far surpassing the ProChallenge level.

On refinery, If smelting is well held, I like to squeeze as many upgrades as I can into the empty cylindrical tank by hive. Usually not the first place a marine is lookin, gives time to respond and if they hop in there w/ out jp, they're usually an easy kill :D

Of course a clever rine could climb up into the rafters and snipe...

Ye and easy too I think. Just 1 gorge to tunnel nano and commander can tunnel cargo RT himself, 4 rts is easily enough to win a game. :bz

    1. Meet up outside marine base
    2. All go gorge
    3. Rush base, place hydras, build them all up
    4. Win

An interesting modification to the out-base upgrades. There are a few spots where you can put the shade inside your hive while keeping the upgrades outside. If you don't shade the cyst there's no reason at all to be suspicious, at least until they start pushing the hive itself and scanning it just for that.

    1 tunnel nano to overlook
    1 tunnel 2nd hive rt to c12
    6 harvesters without any cysts.
Of course the Marine team will have to be the usual cowardly derp-fest but we are talking about pubs here so that is a given.

What I see since the last few patches is a 100% marine win rate on the current docking due to how unbalanced it is. It's stupid how easy you can lock them down to one hive.

It's way more annoying on Tram imo

I'm really not a fan of this change at all. It's especially annoying as player counts get higher and large gorge groups are more prevalent and more potent.

the only problem with docking the devs should be worrying themselves about would be the bad performance on the north end, specifically generator. after that work on balance imo.

No point optimising it just to slice it up to balance it after.

a lot, if not all, of this will be in my rewritten kham guide soon.
Its on the todo list, but ya know.. playing ns2 is much more interesting then writing borin guides. :D

got this one on docking :http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/577863206907875243/373D1384C06ECA5FC616E24C426A9472505133DB/

Well, we always wanted more use of gorge tunnels :D

Although yours is from an older build and doesn't count :P

Stop giving the gorge credit where it's due. They might stop being under-rated by ignorant marines...

Plz fix the bug where infestation comes through a gorge tunnel that is not connected to infestation.

-Gorge Tunnels will now always spawn Infestation (other side doesn’t need to be infested)

    From the reinforced changelog.

    Ohhh. Word.

But its a terrible change :p

the bad change was making it researched by default imo.

i don't mind it being free, but what balanced it was the delay before you could build it, I think.

I know exceptions should be made for Balance and all, but it really irked me that Tunnels were researched independently but all other abilities were researched by lifeform (Gorge Abilities, Lerk Abilities, etc.)

I feel like it was it's own research path to allow Khaams to get them out earlier... But it is unintuitive to have it research on it's own. Either have it by default, or make Gorge abilities cheaper to research. They could do some more things like move babblers to Biomass 2, or increase PRes cost to balance that out. But I am opposed to researching Tunnels and ONLY tunnels individually.

Although if they brought back researching ALL abilities individually you wouldn't see me crying over it.

Agreed. Rolling it into biomass upgrades would be a simple solution. It's still free, but would be delayed enough on biomass 3 (or maybe even 2) that you wouldn't see tunnels going up all over the map in the first minute of the game.

Or just return it to its own upgrade, and decrease cost to 5ish res. that way it takes a little time (however long they want the research to take) and is more or less free (cheaper then a drifter)
