Buy for Windows, play on Mac when released

Hello, I want to buy the game on steam, it's runnning (with the free week-end) at low FPS on very low settings on my windows laptop (but it's playable).

If the game is released on Mac, will I be able to play on it without re-buying it ?

    If the game released on Mac you would. But bear in mind: I know of no official statement that the game would release on Mac. UWE have stated for a long time that they would release on Linux and they just did. I don't know of any Mac plans (which doesn't mean they don't have one of course)

    Certainly a bigger possibility now than it was BEFORE it was released for linux. Now that opengl is in the game, that's one major hurdle out of the way... but probably a LOT more out there they've have to fix to get the game on mac. Just a question of how many mac gamers out there would buy ns2... if that IS a question... ;)

    Cory mentioned they want to bring it to Mac next, and it's easier now Linux is working. Their office is FULL of Mac users, so I suspect Mac wont be too far off.

    You wont need to re-buy however for Mac support. :)
