80fps but very stuttery since the 8/27 patch.

The new patch seemed to boost my performance a bit, as I'm now running 80+fps, but the game is now unplayably stuttery. It seems like skipped frames or something. Activating vsync doesn't help. Before the patch I was getting slightly lower fps, but it was buttery smooth. As it stands, I can't track aliens quickly and really can't play the game.
Is anyone else having this issue after the new patch, and does anyone have a fix? (Running a 1.5GB GTX480 @ 850mhz and an i5 @ 4.0ghz. Infestation and atmospherics set to off. 80fps as stated before)

I would try other options and see if they work better or worse.
I'd test moar, but it's late and I have to work tomorrow.
CPU: i7 3770k
GPU: GTX 680 Gainward Phantom (OC)
SSD: Corsair Force 3 64 GB (NS2 + Steam installed)
Playing on 1920x1080 , 60 Hz
I have 70-85 fps everything on high , 85-95 everything on low. It stutters and its unplayable
If I go down with the Resolution 1680x1050 , its pretty smooth with 100-115 fps.
i7 2700k @ 4.5ghz and a GTX 670.
Before this patch the game always felt smooth.
Now it feels laggy, like low fps and also looks like it. But fps r ok.
Tried dx9 and 11 so far..
EDIT: I always had vsync on.. dont want to play without. Also Multithread was always on.
OpenGL without vsync seems better.. but not rly good.
Cant play till fixed.
More details about my spec/performance in this thread in general : http://forums.unknownworlds.com/discussion/131632/dx9-vs-dx11-vs-opengl-post-results-here
Its due to multithreaded rendering being forced now instead of being an option. You all had it disabled before right?
i7 3770k @ 3.5ghz, GTX 570, SSD (samsung 830's) and 16GB Vengeance low latency ram.
Before this patch the game ran silky smooth. Even during heavy battles.
Now it feels laggy, like with a low fps. Also tried dx9 and 11 and Opengl.
Before this patch, was this game dx9 or dx11??
i7 4770k @ 4.2 ghz
1280 x 720 @ 120hz
AMD Radeon 6950
16 gb ram
samsung 250 gb ssd
with ogl dropped from 155 to 105 fps in the menu, so didn't try to use it in game.
Phenom II x4 @ 4ghz + ATi5870
multicore always been on
I also have the same problem since the days of a build my 252 Tri-fire AMD 6970 no longer works, only one card is recognized games.
The thank you frankly the NS2 DEV of anything, should test a product before putting it in days
If you have high FPS but still stuttering use this in the console:
r_mt false
note: r_mt is the command for multithreading you can activte it by typing in r_mt true , and deactivate with r_mt false
or r_mt 1 (ON) r_mt 0 (OFF)
We do test. Unfortunately, UWE are a VERY small team. They do not have access to hundreds of different configurations, settings, branded cards or drivers. These things will happen, and do happen to other smaller devs.
I have SLI GTX 560 Ti and i5 2500K OC to 4.5Ghz
Had no issues before update using SLI and Multi core.
OK reboot has increased it to 30-45 fps , still very low.
FPS is ultra low even in 800x600 and low all Graphics option
I think we need b254 ASAP like Build 249 - 250 before this happen
What i notice is when i strafe and watch an edge, the edge vibrates/stutters.
DX9: Great framerate (70-80 FPS) but a lot of stuttering.
DX11 or OpenGL: After loading map, game gets very slow (0-2 FPS), then freezes and crashes.
CPU: Intel i5 2500k
GPU: AMD Radeon 6950
RAM: 8 GB
VSync off
Always used multithreading before the patch without problems.
I still consider DX11 and OpenGL bugged btw.
