Perhaps show what marine tech the comm has upgraded when full map displayed, very simple and identical to alien's ability to see biomass/abilities when they pull up map.
Seems simple enough, and I think it'd help people to see commander progress or for late joins to be on same page. I'm sure I've read people requesting pretty much the same idea, seems like a good time to implement it.
