Genesis invokes a strong idea of a "beginning". We are far from a beginning either in storyline or in development... so sadly that one doesn't win my favor.

i like "evolved", but it seems too common.
What makes species evolve and Natural Selection happening?
Genetic recombination, and Mutations.
I think "Evolved", although common, sounds pretty good. It's something everyone will understand, it's tied to the NS theme, and it inherently suggests some form of improvement.
Also, technically, it's population pressure that causes evolution, and not mutations. The latter happens all the time, randomly, in every living organism, yet there are species which have hardly changed for millions of years, simply due to the lack of significant population pressure. In other words, mutations are not actually the driving force behind evolution, they're just the facilitator, and if there's no new external pressures to naturally select any new traits, a species could just stay thesame indefinitely.
