I, am very unhappy with this.
I bought it in the summersale, wanted to play it because it seemed like a nice game.
then started it, got into the menu, and BOOM, framerate drops, flickering, mouse disappear for milliseconds and flickers and jumps around the screen.
It is unplayable. I cant even start a game, i could hardly change the settings.
Now all the dumbasses are probably thinking, "minimun requirements?!".
The only thing i say to that, is HD6870 Crossfire (i also disabled that, yeah im not that dumb), X6 1090t @ 3,8GhZ, 8GB ram.
So if there is no fix for that, i want a refund, its the first game, out of over 300 that wont work.
SO, im pretty unhappy with that, because i only wanted a functional game, without using years on fixing problems for the developers, and it seems like i cant get it.

Nice to meet another moron.
"I think they once mentioned they dont do refunds anymore."
Too many people having troubles?
First thing I'd try is to set your Catalyst control panel's 3D setting to use "application settings" to see if you can get into the menu also on initial startup it will start compiling shaders so your FPS will suffer a bit... The thing is, your issue could be related to many easy to test options posted in this thread/sticky
Side note; For refunds you'd have to contact Steam support as mentioned in that thread dePARA posted
Also make sure you disable AA for NS2 in your Catalyst Control panel to "use application settings" for ns2.exe
This should fix your issue. On a side note, I understand you're frustrated that NS2 did not work 'out of the box' but there is no need for the attitude when people are trying to help PC Development and compatibility is tough, especially for indie developers. You may find you need to do more of this in future for other games, as is the nature of PC development. So please be patient, and we will do all we can to help!
But still, some people are morons and dumbasses, and most people should know.
And yes, i am one of them too, sometimes. I probably just stood up with the wrong foot today.
I disabled AA, i have the newest driver, and i tested all the fixes that may could fix my problem.
Since the problem only occurs when i move my mouse, it could be the hardware acceleration, but i have no idea how to disable that, i tried but i never get it to work.
Tech support is community provided and volunteered, with quite the success rate (since some of us like in this thread communicate with the devs daily )
So when you come into a place like this, angry and calling names, you really lose those volunteers.. But look.. They still tried! .. And you still continued.
Steam will give you a one time refund.
If you're still interested in fixing your issue to play the product you purchased, the tech support forums will be here for you...
Feel free to Start again with a new thread.
But if you start again with that attitude and insist on the name calling, you won't receive help at the least and will be removed from the forums at the most. We're an amazing community, try giving us a chance first next time.
