Mic bug (cause identified)

So, whever you launch a game via steam Join server (via friend) your mic won't work in game.
Thought that was just me, but then my friend had the same problem.
Fixed easily by going to options -> sound and then just closing options.

    The problem is that you have to apply this fix every single time.
    This has been known since 240... This is a major problem, since people keep talking and you can't hear them, too bad they're taking their time fixing it :-/

    Nobody is taking their time fixing it, that comment is a little bit on the ignorant side. The fact is that it's a weird bug that the devs are trying to pinpoint to be able to fix it properly. Not all bugs that seem like are a simple one-two-three fix actually turn out to be. We ask that you just be patient in knowing that the problem is being looked at and will be fixed in due time. There is a known temp solution to this problem as it stands, so in the meantime use that. Since the bug mostly occurs after a map change, if you are unsure if your mic is working or not after a map change, just ask for a mic check in the server. =)
