I love these threads, plus NS2 has the added bonus that you will probably need a pretty beefy machine to play it.

Here's my command center. Not much to look at but it gets the job done!

25.5" Asus monitor at 1920x1200 (didn't even realize it was one of those odd 16:10 monitors until I got it. lol)
Logitech G510 gaming keyboard (primarly just using LCDHost software to have system vitals at a glance)
Logitech G500 gaming mouse on X-Trac Ripper mouse pad (large surface and cheap!)
    AMD 965 processor (3.4 ghz quad-core)
8 GB RAM (not "gaming" grade but low enough latency that it might as well be)
Saphire Radeon 7970 (works great for mining Bitcoins when idle, especially considering the current $40 market rate!)
Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro (have had way too many software issues with this that I'm no longer going to be purchasing Creative Lab sound cards - onboard or Asus Xonar from now on)
Various 7200 rpm SATA hard drives (nothing special, have SSD on stand by for the next time I reformat)
Xbox 360 controller for Big Picture and a decade old Microsoft Sidewinder Forcefeedback 2 joystick
Altec Lansing 4.1 speakers that are also about a decade old but still kicking!

That's one hot mess! I'd say you've got about 4-5 months before that room needs to be locked down. :)
