My turn now. This is the ready room of my tentative NS2 map, set in some sort of environmental research space station, complete with crew's quarters, communications arrays and hydroponics labs. I'm mostly doing this to set the theme in stone since I usually start my NS maps with the ready room before building the level afterwards. This is my first time using Spark and I really like how easy it is.

Perhaps there is a coffeeshop on the map and the haze is caused by marines smoking haze.

looks great - however the orange lights look like afternoon sun colour (to me at least) not sure how but try making it look more fluorescent lighting rather than natural light. (maybe turn up the intensity and also less rich in colour)
@Rudy.cz:
you have a really, really good sense of design & lightning.
somehow the design looks clear (not overloaded) and really nice!
(for the others: he is mapping since months to get to this mapping-level)
btw: i wouldnt be surprised if an official map would have been done by you
Thanks Joseppe for your comment! It is exactly one year since I started mapping with Spark seriously, if you are wondering. I am kinda happy with my progress, but there is always room for improvement

Joseppe that is a very original design for a ns2 map, it kinda looks like the insides of a museum of modern art or a very very expensive hotel or nightclub
Oh damn, I'm going to release the map, but it needs performance improvements badly. I misunderstood what the map_settings view distance does (it won't fade out prop_static).
When you stand at one end of the map it renders 1500 models, since there is no occlusion geometry currently. I'm not sure when you have skylight if you just occlude the sidewalls, or if that doesn't help...

Joking aside, I have greatly reduced the hazy effects and I also made the orange lights a lot warmer. :p
(potential theme for the next community map project?)

Here is my server room with alot more reworked lightning and details than the screens in my thread ^^
Might not be the best room ever made, but I'm having tons of fun with making it, thanks for spark UWE!
I'd welcome constructive criticism if anyone has any.

Hive - Ventilation
Skylight - where most of the action will happen
I'll release as soon as I can get my extra entities working and draw distance correct.
