I loved the laser mines so I thought I bring them back to ns2 :-).

From memory if you placed laser mines on the ground they didn't show the laser but when placed on walls or roofs the laser beam was viewable. Are you going to do the same ?
Depending on what mod you're making this for eg: Combat, NS2:C or something else.
Might I suggest that one could choose which to buy one or the other from an armory or buy menu.
eg: classic mines and laser mines.
Everybody like more choices.
Right but is the mine blast still circular or is it projected along the laser path?
