FPS Drop when looking around

I've got the game today, standing still in explorer mode gives me around 40 fps. Moving around is still a solid 40 FPS but whenever i look around using my mouse my FPS drops to 5-10 giving me horrible FPS spikes and thus rendering the game unplayable. I've set everything to as low as you can and i set my Fullscreen resolution to 1280x720 in the hope it would fix it.

Raw Mouse input on or off does not help. What do i do?

How much memory on that Geforce? If it is less then 512Mb or less you need to play the game on Low quality or run it in texture streaming mode. I'd advice Low quality though as loading textures on the fly (texture streaming) is not something a C2Q with low video memory can handle most of the time, especially on less then 2.6Ghz

And I'm guessing you're on Windows XP? The memory management is oldschool, to say the least. So that won't help much in terms of using texture streaming either

The memory on the Geforce is 1GB GDDR5 Memory. I play the game on the lowest settings possible, and is there a way to disable texture streaming mode or something? I'm not familiar with it.

    I run Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

The default setting of texture streaming is off, but you could try it. It is in the graphics options
