I didn't see anything in the upgrades to cause it but my FPS went up at least 50% and stayed up during intense activity. The bite seems to be worse. There were a few times I was sure I had a good hit but it didn't register.
FPS is more stable for me now, using the particle effects on low option which was added in B234. Instead of minimum 5-10 FPS end game fire fights, it's more of a 10-20. (1080p, all low except infestation). The only real difference in particles I noticed were the exo mini gun tracers, still slowing down too much in these situations however.
Might not seem like much, but it's a lot more playable. Looking forward to more performance improvements, keep up the good work. :D

yes there is a na comp scene... not as big as the eu scene, but it is there and constantly growing. As far as the 5-6 kills against skulks with a shottie... it is very possible especially in pubs where the skulks all decide to leap or jump at you in a nice neat line all relatively one at a time. If it's 5-6 skilled skulks attacking at the same time that's another story.

It has been like this since 233 for me. They definitely tightened the bite cone with 233. I was actually surprised that I didn't see it discussed here. Maybe it's an issue with hit reg though, it feels worse since 233 as well.
After builds 227/228 my fps has been increased but there is one downside the microlags/stutterings has been increased a lot and some of these are coming <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/index.php?s=&showtopic=125888&view=findpost&p=2047023" target="_blank">from the sounds</a>. This latest build is worst when we come to fps (my settings are all off/low expect multicore and FullHD resolution). My combat fps has been dropped a lot. Baddest build so far after the release (for me). Dropping the resolution doesn't help at all...

played some games and did those things, i can do more if it is actually helpful. people get abusive when you arent spending your res though so ill just uninstall again if there's nothing else.
