I currently reside on EU01 as TR but either faction works and I don't have clue what's the difference between servers. I imagine 01's being swamped first, which can be a good and a bad thing.
Well so get a Liberator, get Dalton cannon, start domming anything. 1 shot so be sure your gunner has good aim, but put it down near a Sundy with AMS and you will kill all infantry near it.
This Friday they will open another continent to play on, I expect it to be up and running on Saturday , I hope the warp gates will be already operational . They might just as well use the current continent servers to run only the new one for testing

I'm in Europe, it works through Steam. However, I did have a problem, something or other about no subscription, which meant I couldn't download it. Restarting Steam fixed that.
beta accounts work in Europe but if you made a new one you are stuck with a launcher and website that doesn't work (Germany)

Europe ps2 published by "prosiben sat1 games" which sucks Steam Client = US, doesn't let you login with European account : ( i hope i don't have to download the 9 gig again from a crappy German web server with 0.001mb/s

Oh right, I used my old SOE account to log in, so the US launcher you get through Steam works for me. I still have access to the european servers.
Verdict so far: Oh god the abominable lag. All but unplayable. I hope this is just the usual launch trouble, because the game seems like it has potential. Or would have, if it was remotely responsive. Shooting at an enemy, realizing that the lag is making combat impossible, running away, then scoring a kill ten seconds later is just not playable.

The vast majority of my playtime, about four hours so far, has been perfect. There was one 20-minute window of absolute reality dysfunction lag, but only that.
