Adrenaline and regen are designed for noobs, they are not helpful to good players. There's a thing you can do where you place hydras on the ground and clogs above, this makes it so that the clogs can shield the hydras when they fall. Also, hydras are helpful for absorbing damage for aliens behind it, specifically the gorge.
Marines are a lot stronger on lan, because the netcode generally sucks for hitregistry at the moment. Also, skulks can't bite you from 10 feet away or one-shot you. Huge buff to marines.

Totally agrees on Adren/regen not being as useful... As far as the hydra, I guess it's a matter of purpose since I usually only gorge when I command and I use my hydras and clogs to protect my teams upgrades where as they were using them a bit more generally.
I've got to admit that I'm pretty pissed off. I could only watch the first four matches because my wife wanted to go out to eat dinner and she wasn't going to wait another one or two hours. Frankly, I was starving too and figured I could watch them on Twitch when we got back. I came back to see that ESL hasn't posted the videos and the tournament has been over for at least five hours now. It's pretty stupid to spend all that time and money on a tournament and not post the videos for those who were unable to watch them live.
I didn't see all the matches, but of what I saw - awesome games! :) I really liked seeing those Armory blocking strategies. That Archea won wasn't surprising, but Exertus did put up a good fight.

What an insane night. Charlie, the teams and I did not get out of the studio until 2am local time, and we had to get to our first of many return flights at 6am, so please excuse the radio silence. Expect a full write up on Monday. I would do it now in the airport but I left my laptop charger in the studio dammit!
