    Marine movement speed explanation pretty much all I got at the moment, older build but I don't think marine movement has changed.

    would it make sense if i made a video about in-depth mechanics, as listed <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/index.php?showtopic=120114" target="_blank">here</a>? (possibly sorting out some stuff like no score on feign death if this is not intended)

    i am also curious, how should we handle updates which make certain parts of the video obsolete (mechanic changes etc.)? by editing the video, resubmitting it?

    a good video / topic for the marines would be squad positioning. too many pub players just stand right next to each other and get eaten.

    You may have seen these, but they are from ARC's games in the Logitech tourney as commander that Scrajm posted.

    Take note of the first game where Scrajm locates the alien spawn point in literally 2 seconds after he jumps into the comm chair. It needs addressing. Not sure if it was sound, but I don't think extractor dropped either?

    I thought most players knew this so I'm a little surprised by this statement, I even thought it was intentional tbh.
    You can see structures dropping and eggs spawning even without LOS, as a commander on either side. So a good commander will be able to tell the hive position in a matter of moments.

    Currently The Ns2-UCC is working on a host of guides and videos, For everything from basic moment to some of the strategy's used by the ns2 competitive teams. This "database"(Thanks Laosh'Ra, Arga and Zeikko) will be located central at www.Ns2hub.com, and will have content from all over the ns2 community.

    If people want to submit videos is it the case the vids shouldnt have copyrighted music or else you wont be able to embed them in the game? Or will you link to youtube within the game?

    I believe unknowworld should work very hard in building your youtube presents. One great example is League of Legends has a huge subscriber base on youtube and as a result youtube pretty much pays of LoL bills and most of everyone's salary. But, to reach LoL footsteps on youtube it takes good quality videos, interviews, tournaments videos and so on. But, in the long run it you will be very beneficiary. One great thing LoL did that was different is they also added videos of the art work steps by steps and it help boost there subscribers. It will be a great move in the future of NS2. Right now your prences on youtube is kinda weak. Add, more interviews add every video, so your fan base will increase. Look at League of Legends and follow there steps on youtube. It will bring great money revenue if you guys do it right.

    I love editing videos (frag, tutorial, whatever), but you can't expect much without a decent replay UI system. at the bare minimum, a fast-forward and the ability to start a recording session during gameplay would be extremely convenient for picking up footage...

    otherwise you're asking for a <i>lot</i> of time to be spent alt-tabbed out of NS2 waiting for the replay to get to the perfect part, and making sure that all your settings are right otherwise you have to wait another hour :/

    Didn't realise that you could see all this as commander, I thought it was just build sparks that were visible a few builds ago.

    The commander should only be able to see what the teams see, what he scans, or what is in view of or is attacking structures. Imo.
