Dedicated servers?

<div class="IPBDescription">On launch?</div>A friend asked me if the game was going to have dedicated servers on launch so I made this thread wanting to be sure before I said anything.

    Well there's already dedicated servers for the game.
    As in official ISPs hosting them, I'm sure there will be.

    There is a dedicated server for Windows. A Linux one is in the works but it doesn't seem guaranteed.

    They also require really, really, fast servers.

    Oh contrare camron, you can already run a linux dedicated server, just uwe doesn't have the official plugin for it.

    Isn't it wine only at the moment? There's still no native linux server correct?

    Like Camron said though, currently the servers need to be a bit more beefier then your average gaming server.
    Hopefully get better as the game gets out of beta and into more official patches.
