    Smooth, and I like the rookie feature.

    The new LMG sound comes across like a baby Exo along with the high pitched whine. :sadface:

    Look forwards to the Lerk changes, but Exos are going to get smashed by BB now. Glad to see Carapace is better, but I'm worried about the decreased Marine upgrade cost.

    Is anyone else getting worse performance this build?

    Also,

    + like the better Lerk spike accuracy
    + like how Skulk walljumping actually works now
    + like the new "scan" effect for aliens
    - dislike the new alien HUD

    I like the new rifle sounds, but the level 3 muzzle might be a bit too bright.

    the 15/25/35 is correct for rescost.
    times are now 80/100/120.

    i also found a change in SporesDustCloudRadius, it is increased from 1.5 to 2.0

    in detail, this is 0.25->0.2 for lerk and 0.35->0.45 for fade.

    minor thing: EXO now gives +20 score instead of +15.

    Great patch UWE and you know i don't say that often...

    Chock-full of great changes including the following outstanding ones.
    -Slowdown with Carapace removed (drawbacks are implicit in choices, not within traits themselves).
    -Tightened Lerk spike accuracy (supposed to be in 219).
    -Adjusted walljump vertical speed to be closer to b216.
    -Adrenaline upgrade now increases total energy pool by 200% instead of energy regeneration.
    -Recycling structures now count as inactive.

    Concerned about
    -bilebomb/exo
    -5tres shade/crag
    -very cheap armslab upgrades
    but we shall see.

    Great patch again. I think the rookie system is going to prove to be very well implemented. No changes to gameplay - simply relying on the social pressure of being that "non-green" player.

    Skulk bite reduction has made me useless as a skulk, I went from even K/D to 0/27 tonight :(

    -Ok played a bit now and daaaamn the skulk is completely worthless now, thats crazy! -20 percent for the skulk bite range is suuuch a huge amount :'( adren seems worthless now as well ><

    -Also when you bite a blue power node(w/e u wanna call it) it just keeps popping up -0 (for the damage) every time you bite

    -Not sure if this was part of the update or just a coincidence but I connected to the server a lot faster than usual :P

    EDIT:

    Just wanna say besides that theres tons of great updates here, I remember playing alpha (although I sometimes wish I didn't lol) and its amazing how great this game has become, can't wait for the 1.0 release

    Yeah - i can say about everyone has seen a fps drop of 10-50%, and some strange screen glitches!
    Just fyi something went wrong, other then that all great stuff XD!!

    ive only played marines in the new patch but i must say i LOVE the draw damage feature omg its so goooooooooooood. also thank god for reduced upgrade costs. it was always so difficult to balance between map control and upgrades! in NS1 in any body (32 slot servers) i could easily have map control and do upgrades simultaneously. in ns2 i felt so constricted between picking one or the other. i like.

    Good patch, good job. The draw damage thing is implemented amazingly well, love it. Mostly positive changes so far.

    So you fu**ers were the reason my steam crashed! New patch haven't played yet but I'll love to find all the new exploits I can, since I best when drunk hur hur. Updates/patches are coming faster and faster now but something I have learned from this game 1 patch fixes 2 things and brakes another.

    Really liking the changes so far. Adrenaline on Fades definitely feels way less ridiculous which is a good thing. Plus the fact that it doesn't just overwrite the shift passive is kinda nice. It is also nice to have the faster regen start time back. The only thing that worries me was the 20% skulk bite range nerf. I don't think performance is tight enough to draw it back in that much. Perhaps a 10% reduction would have been better to start with.

    When clicking the "Name" section when looking for a server doesn't do anything. "Broken".

    Woah do not alt+tab when looking at the servers list, can I say glitch or I will say every server appears in the same line.

    You guys do realize that the first time you load up a new build it will have low frame rate at first because its still precaching.... Just play around for 10 minutes then restart your client and you will see a noticeable improvement.

    Can we have a useful form of turrets back next build please? still a useless venture, cheap or not.
    Turrets should not be offensive, marines have absolutely no defensive capabilities atm and with their stats, they wont contribute much to an end game scenario (i.e turtles)
    NAmely because the marines do that, increase marine spawn time and increase turret usability please.

    Uh, yeah. It is useless. You'd have to be a complete fool now not to take celerity in every case.
