<div class="IPBDescription">512MB ATI Mobility Radeon(TM) HD 5470 switchable graphics [HDMI, VGA]</div>Looks like I jumped the gun on preordering. I just saw yall recommend a 1G video card for min requirements. I only have a 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5470.

I guess I need to see about upgrading my graphics card in my laptop eh?

I think the rest of my system is ok for min requirements..

• 6GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)

Well all I know is that when I went from my HD4850 512Mb GDDR3 to a HD5870 1Gb, the hitching was close to gone and I could run the game on Medium instead of Low. The HD4850 is a lot more powerful than your mobility HD5470 and it was already struggling to some extent, up to the point that once everything is loaded into memory its fine. And that is also where your 6Gb or RAM will probably help you a lot as I'm on 2Gb, which will result in a lot of swapping in and out of memory, even to HDD sometimes...

We have playtesters with 512Mb Graphics cards, and they can still play NS2 (especially now texture streaming option is in which helps).

But a 1GB Card will help a lot.
